Ryde’s website was running on a CMS that was outdated which was making updates to the site a time-consuming and costly situation. As they were essentially happy with the “Look & Feel” of the website, Unbranded Space were tasked with rebuilding the site in the WordPress CMS, to improve overall performance and make updates a simpler process.
While conforming to that brief, we were also compelled to suggest a number of improvements. We felt the navigational structure of the site and some of the page layouts to be unclear. We also felt that the website was lacking in written content. The site featured many great photos, but there was very little written information to create a meaningful context for the images. In the end we revised the structure of the site, provided written context on every page as well as adding a few new pages to better illustrate who Ryde are and what it is they do.
