Australian Tonewoods supplies a broad range of domestic and imported wood used in the construction of musical instruments. The business is the enterprise of Tim Spittle, who has been specialising in providing luthier supplies and expertise for more than 20 years. In 2022 the business relocated from Western Australia to Tasmania. The relocation was timed to coincide with a redesigned website and switching from an outdated e-commerce system to WordPress & WooCommerce.
In designing and creating the new website, Unbranded Space was also able to draw on our experience to advise on the best way to structure product navigation. As well as providing the various categories for filtering products, we also created a custom data type specifically for wood species. This provides Customers of Australian Tonewoods with multiple ways of finding and filtering through the hundreds of products on the website.
In addition to e-commerce, Unbranded Space has also integrated an e-newsletter subscription service creating an automated newsletter campaign that alerts customers to new or up-and-coming products.
