The Denmark Chamber of Commerce was looking for a new website with a more contemporary look and a better user experience for the business directory and the website overall. Data from the old website’s directory needed to be ported over, but with redundant information excluded, calling for a complex database migration process.
In consultation with the Chamber, we introduced a new tiered membership for the online directory that would provide added value for those members who are on higher tiered. These benefits included a higher priority in listings and search results and added or enhanced content areas on the individual member listings.
The chamber website also features a number of News articles and Visitor Guides to assist travellers as they pass through Denmark. These areas were designed so that the Chamber could add any number of News articles and Visitor Guides, all presented through a simple and appealingly designed series of templates.
To provide the Chamber with the greatest degree of flexibility and in-house updating, nearly every piece of information on the website is able to be edited via custom content areas in the WordPress Dashboard.
